Landscape architecture and architecture programs remain among nation’s best

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State programs in landscape architecture and architecture within the Stuckeman School again rank as two of the best in the nation, according to the latest Design Intelligence rankings. The undergraduate program in landscape architecture (B.L.A.) ranks third on the 2018-19 list and remains as the top public university program in the East. The program is also ranked among the top-10 schools nationally in 10 of the 12 focus areas within the discipline. The architecture undergraduate program (B.Arch.) remains unchanged at #19 and seventh among public universities in the United States. At the graduate level, the landscape architecture program (M.L.A.) is ranked 11th. Penn State’s programs soared in the category of “Schools Most Hired From by Firms,” placing first for landscape architecture and third for architecture in their respective graduating class size groups.
