Sumaiya Mehjabeen

Sumaiya Mehjabeen is a graduate student and teaching assistant at the Stuckeman School. Her master's research focuses on day-lighting, sustainability, energy efficiency, and computational design.

Before pursuing her M.S. in Architecture at Penn State, Mehjabeen obtained her professional bachelor's degree in architecture from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. She explored the architectural profession both in academia and in practice. She participated in numerous national and international award-winning projects with her own team and with a renowned architectural firm in Bangladesh.
