Fei Guo is a Master of Science candidate in the Stuckeman Center for Design Computation at Penn State. Before coming to Penn State, he obtained his M.Arch from the Tianjin University where his research focused on how Chinese culture affects traditional garden design. Guo worked as an architect in Beijing and had finished several projects in the areas of city planning, city complex, and interior design. The experience of these projects gives him inspiration to use computer programming to solve the problem of design efficiency. The topic of his thesis is “Generating Variety: High-Rise Residential Facade Design.”
