It’s critical that we experiment with new methods if we expect to engage our increasingly demanding audiences.

Designer Gabe Kean will share his studio’s recent work and its unorthodox approaches to creating technology-rich visitor experiences. This talk will include practical philosophies and process steps to guide your own projects toward rewarding and successful outcomes.

Gabe Kean is the founder and principal of Belle & Wissell, Co., a Seattle-based studio crafting responsive and immersive visitor experiences in public spaces – always blending inventive design with technology. Since graduating from Penn State’s Graphic Design program in 1995, Gabe has been designing and leading teams to create participatory experiences for clients that include Harley-Davidson Motor Company, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Amazon, Art Institute of Chicago, Museum of Pop Culture, and the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago.
