The Stuckeman School's Departments of Architecture and Landscape Architecture continue to place as leading programs in Design Intelligence magazine's annual nationwide rankings.
For the fourth consecutive year, Penn State's undergraduate landscape architecture program has been ranked in the top 3, ranking #1 in the east and #2 overall. The graduate program ranked #5 in the east and #9 overall, maintaining its strength in just its third year of assessment eligibility.
Design Intelligence asked hiring firms to rank the strongest programs in educating for each skill area, and Penn State landscape architecture garnered top 5 standings in 4 out of the 6 categories, including Cross-Disciplinary Teamwork, Computer Applications, Communication Skills, and Design Skills.
Penn State architecture boasts a confident class of graduates – 100% believe they will be well prepared for their profession upon graduation. 100% rate the quality of the program at Penn State as "Above Average" or better. The #16 program enjoyed its eighth consecutive year of top 20 designation.
