Types of Aid

The Office of Student Aid administers all major aid programs at Penn State and strives to ensure access to educational opportunity for those in greatest financial need. For many students and their families, paying for a Penn State education requires careful budgeting as well as partnering with the Office of Student Aid to take advantage of the federal, state, and institutional aid we provide. To receive aid, a student must meet the eligibility requirements listed on the Office of Student Aid website, including complying with Penn State’s academic progress standards.

In addition, if you are applying to our Graduate Program you may be eligible for a graduate assistantship.
