M.L.A. Degree

The first class in our new 3-year MLA started Fall 2009.  This degree is designed for those with an undergraduate degree in another field and who desire to have an accredited degree.  Those graduating with an accredited degree may sit for professional licensing exams to become an accredited professional landscape architect.

M.L.A. Degree Requirements

The new MLA curriculum requires completion of 33 credits of graduate work at the 400-level and above, including a minimum of 18 at the 500-level. In addition, to fulfill the requirements of professional accreditation, students must undertake 49 credits of prerequisite classes. Students can be provisionally admitted to the MLA until the prerequisites have been met.
