We are seeking interns for our spring semester internship program. Design Workshop internships are designed to expose students to a collaborative, professional office environment and a team of experienced design professionals. Selected individuals will participate in a 12-week internship at Design Workshop from January to April/May. Students will be exposed to both the creative and business environment.

This spring, we are offering spring internships in our following offices: Aspen, CO, Austin, TX, Chicago, IL and Lake Tahoe.

Students pursuing degrees in landscape architecture, urban design or planning are encouraged to apply. Dual degrees in both landscape architecture and urban design or planning are strongly encouraged to apply.
Assignments will vary and may include project research, site visits, sketching, computer production, design reviews and assisting on marketing proposals. Students must possess exceptional graphic, AutoCAD, analysis and digital production skills. Proficiency in Adobe Suite, the ability to produce high-quality illustrations and computerized models in 3-D Max and/or SketchUp and impeccable writing skills are essential. Additional requirements include strong technical skills (grading, construction knowledge) as well as a positive attitude and open mind towards involvement on a wide range of project types. Candidates must be energetic, self-motivated, great communicators and possess strong leadership qualities.
