The SLAM Collaborative is considering a full-time intern for the summer of 2017.  This will be a paid internship with many of opportunities to learn new skills and work on some of SLAM’s high-profile projects.  We will be looking for students who are juniors entering their senior year, but will still accept portfolios from sophomores as well.  The application deadline will be APRIL 21st but timeliness is very much appreciated.

Opportunity:
The Landscape Architecture studio at the SLAM Collaborative in Glastonbury, CT is considering a full-time, paid summer internship for the summer of 2017. The internship will provide the opportunity to experience a professional office environment while learning new skills on real world projects.
 
Selection Criteria:
  1. Preference will be given to applicants on track for the completion of their junior year in the Landscape Architectural program although applications from those on track for the completion of their sophomore year in the Landscape Architectural program will also be accepted.
  2. An ability to show leadership potential and teamwork capabilities.
  3. An ability to demonstrate high quality of work—both “freehand” and digital work.
  4. Motivation and disposition.
Submission Requirements:
  1. Applications must be submitted no later than April 21st in .pdf file format via e-mail to Renee Latulippe rlatulippe@slamcoll.com. Timeliness is appreciated as applicants will be reviewed and interviewed as submissions are received. Applicants will be notified of award no later than May 5th.
  2. Portfolios of studio work are required and should be concise and composed in a manner to prepare students for the composition of a professional portfolio.
  3. Transcripts of college grades are NOT required.
