The Institutes of Energy and the Environment and the Sustainability Institute are seeking an experienced full-time graphic designer to join their communications team. The position will work on a variety of projects, including digital graphics, printed marketing materials, infographics, and presentations. The successful candidate will be able to create innovative, useful, and engaging designs that clearly communicate a wide variety of information, ranging from complex scientific concepts to news articles. Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to collaborate and communicate with diverse audiences is essential, and the successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing projects with minimal supervision. Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, and Microsoft PowerPoint required. Experience with managing the print process, including digital prepress and print-ready file requirements, required. Familiarity with website content management systems, such as WordPress and Drupal preferred. Experience with photography and videography desired. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
