Our Team is focused on delivering high-quality, high-value solutions in direct collaboration with our clients, fellow consultants and other stakeholders. This position will primarily focus on placemaking, mixed-use, hospitality and retail design. Our practice has a strong local presence in the Baltimore/Washington DC area and reaches throughout the eastern United States, South America, Europe and Asia. 

As a firm, our philosophy is grounded in a human centered approach to design, emphasizing the connection between people and our environment. Our overall practice is diverse with projects spanning a broad range of markets, scales and types with a portfolio that includes retail, hospitality, parks, institutional and academic work, housing, urban planning and transportation. 

Ideal candidates will have 0-2 years of experience, with an interest in working on fast paced, collaborative projects. Candidates shall have excellent AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Rhino, Photoshop and InDesign skills. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university. Skills Required:          

MRA seeks a self-motivated, detail-oriented landscape designer with strong technical skills and interests. Requirements include:

  • Demonstrated production experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Sketchup. 
  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills (English).
  • Ability to effectively manage time and self-edit work

Additional skills desired:

  • Proficiency with Micro Station, REVIT, hand drawing, ArcMap, and Rhino
  • Ability to integrate seamlessly into landscape design teams as well as urban design / planning team
  • Previous professional experience in a design office (such as internships)

Education: Accredited Degree in Landscape Architecture

Professional Registration: Working toward licensure
