D & A Dunlevy Landscapers, Inc. is searching for a qualified, motivated, and dependable candidate to join our landscape design and sales team. We are a full service landscape company that provides both residential and commercial services to the Washington, D.C. Metro area. Our design-build firm is taking on new design projects and looking for a candidate that can help build upon our growing company. The Landscape Sales and Design position is a design based position with a blend of sales, field layout, and project coordination. The advertised position has a generous salary and offers a benefit package including paid vacation, a retirement plan, and health insurance.
Landscape Sales and Design Associate will:
  • Work at the direction of the Head of Sales and Design to develop full-scale designs and enhancements
  • Meet with prospective clients and develop proposals based on client meetings
  • Provide enhancement services in conjunction with Maintenance Account Manager
  • Build proposals utilizing landscape architecture plans and site specifications
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to obtain bids for proposals
Qualified Candidate MUST:
  • Have a degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, or related
  • Have experience with full-scope Landscape design-build projects, from concept level through design development and construction documents
  • Have experience in a sales setting and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Possess knowledge of construction and masonry methods and practices
  • Possess a working knowledge of horticulture and arboriculture, including plant identification
  • Possess integrity, a great work ethic, and a great attitude
  • Have strong organizational and time management skills to manage the workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients
  • Possess strong oral and written skills
  • Be able to operate comfortably in collaborative design sessions
  • Have the desire to continually learn new skills and share knowledge with all other team members
  • Possess a valid drivers license
