Overview:
EPD is seeking an entry-level landscape design professional.
 
Established in 1939, EPD is one of the oldest Landscape Architecture firms in the United States and has developed a nationally acclaimed practice in Landscape Architecture, Community Planning and Urban Design. EPD’s office is a fast-paced design studio where we work on exciting projects ranging from riverfront parks, community master plans, brownfield redevelopments to green infrastructure design and installation. Our diverse project base and direct collaboration with the firm’s principals allows professionals to gain insight and hands on knowledge not typically available elsewhere.

Qualifications:
EPD is looking for creative, self-motivated, enthusiastic designers with strong design, graphic, and computer application skills. Candidates must possess strong communication skills and great leadership qualities.  Candidates must have strong writing skills and learn new skills quickly.
 
An undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited landscape architecture program is required. Candidates with a master’s degree or dual degrees in both landscape architecture and urban design or planning are strongly encouraged to apply.
 
Responsibilities: 
Exceptional hand graphics and digital technical skills are required. Proficiency in Adobe Suite, MicroStation, Microsoft Office and ArcGIS. Mapping and analysis are required in addition to experience with construction documentation. The ability to produce high-quality illustrations and computerized models in 3-D Rhino and/or Sketch Up and impeccable writing skills are essential. Additional requirements include strong technical skills (grading, construction knowledge) as well as a positive attitude and open mind towards involvement on a wide range of project types.
