The Landscape Design Intern will be based within the Capital Development division of Recreation and Parks.  The Intern will work with Landscape Architects, Engineers, and Construction Inspectors to design and implement capital improvements to Baltimore City parks.  The Intern will aid other design professionals with projects in various stages from conceptual design through construction administration.  Ability to read construction drawings and site plans is required.  Knowledge of AutoCad, Photoshop, and Illustrator is desirable.

The Urban Resources Initiative Internship Program is a partnership of the Baltimore City Department of Recreation and Parks, the Parks & People Foundation, and area universities and institutions.

Semester internship:  180 hours; 10-12 weeks; 15-18 hours/week
Most internships are unpaid; paid internships contingent upon funding and have a higher hours expectation
Academic credit may be applicable; see your academic advisor or internship office.
