Position Description: This position is currently available in our New York and San Francisco offices. We are looking for ambitious, talented and self-motivated individuals to join the Hart Howerton team. The individuals will be planning and designing residential, hospitality and mixed-use development projects at multiple scales in the US and abroad.
The Landscape Designer will work as part of a multidisciplinary team on landscape architectural and planning projects, incorporating physical planning and architecture. Tasks will include all aspects of landscape design and drawing set production at a range of scales from master planning to detailed site design. This position provides the opportunity for growth and advancement.
Qualifications: This position requires excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills for use in an interactive design team environment. An ability to work at a variety of project scales from planning to detail design, as is knowledge of plants and ecology. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in Revit and proficient hand drawing and writing skills. Fluency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop and In-Design, are required, as well as work experience applying these skills in an office setting.
