Capstone Properties, a full-service, forward looking real estate company offers an internship opportunity for winter break 2018-19. The architecture associate will be involved with some or all of the following design projects: Design of a master-planned “eco-village” residential community; Small condominium development; Redesign of retail and office space, and more.

The associate will be expected to be involved and/or lead the conceptualization and design of comprehensive architecture projects. Design concepts will be within a master-planned and campus scope and may include horizontal and vertical design as well as integration with site amenities. The winter associate will work with a team of real estate professionals and have the opportunity to impact highly visible community resources. Extraordinary opportunity to develop portfolio accomplishments of high visibility projects in the community.


  • Architecture majors (undg. or grad.)
  • Graduate student with combination of landscape (BLA) a plus
  • Combination of Interest in community and environmentally sustainable development
  • Strong graphic design skills a plus
  • Ability to work with wide cross-section of customers and the public
  • Ability to work independently with significant organizational responsibility

Opportunity to continue projects remotely 5-15 hours per week during the spring semester, and would be good experience for hire into Capstone’s summer associate program, if interested. Strong placement support following internship. Capstone interns have gone on to impressive jobs and positions following graduation, and often cite Capstone as an important step in their career advancement. Position located in Athens, OH. Housing can be provided. Must have driver’s license. Possibility of full-time position following graduation.
