Applicants should have a passion for good design and the urban environment, enjoy and take pride in their work. Applicants should demonstrate experience with the design process from conceptual through construction documentation including material research and selection, evaluating building codes, detailing into production, and installation. Responsibilities include participation in full project development from conceptual design through creating technical and construction documents, obtaining site information, preparing presentation materials/models, and assisting with general office operation. The position requires experience in a broad range of project types including restaurant, retail, office, and residential buildings.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with a keen design sense, solid graphic skills, and fundamental technical knowledge. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and Adobe CS programs is required, while 3D modeling (SketchUP) and hand rendering abilities are highly regarded. B.Arch. or M.Arch. degree is required. Architectural Licensure is not required but expected that candidate is working toward licensure.
Available as either a full-time or part-time position.
