The Arts Intern Program is now accepting applications for paid summer internships for summer 2017, providing exciting opportunities for students to work in museums and cultural institutions.  Also, this summer we are offering positions in four different cities - New York, Boston, Philadelphia, and Cleveland.
This year, participating institutions include (list in formation):

  • The Rubin Museum of Art
  • Studio Museum in Harlem
  • Brooklyn Children's Museum
  • The Frick Collection
  • The Barnes Collection
  • Shofuso Japanese House and Garden
  • Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland
  • Cleveland Museum of Natural History
  • The Artists Archives of the Western Reserve
  • Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum
  • Museum of Fine Arts Boston
Students may visit the site,, to review available positions and eligibility requirements.  If interested, students should apply directly to the contact listed for each position, not to ArtsIntern.  Museums conduct their own selection process.
Program Eligibility
  • Students must be attending a college or university within one of the four participating cities, or must be residents of one of these cities.  
  • Applicants must be enrolled full time, entering their junior or senior year in Fall 2017 as candidates for an undergraduate degree.
  • Applicants must demonstrate financial need by submitting appropriate documentation along with their application.  Please note, this internship is only available to students who have an EFC of $5,000 or less.
