"Outside Looking In" Series: Martin Kaltwasser

London's Jellyfish Theatre, made entirely from reclaimed materials

Martin Kaltwasser, co-founder of Folke Koebberling / Martin Kaltwasser, studied Fine Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg, Germany before he studied at the Technical University Berlin, where he made his Diploma in Architecture. He is a guest scholar at Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, in the Fine Art Graduate Program. In 2010, Koebberling & Kaltwasser worked alongside volunteers to create The Jellyfish Theatre (pictured above), London’s first fully-functioning theatre made entirely from recycled and reclaimed materials.
